

| Lorenzo Ersland Director of Finance Lorenzo Ersland joined Tides in 2004 as Controller. He currently manages Tides Foundation's accounting and finance functions as Director of Finance and collaborates with other finance leaders across the other Tides organizations. Prior to joining Tides, Lorenzo worked for 20 years in the software industry, including serving as Controller of Broderbund Software and epicentric. He has both served on Boards and volunteered with a variety of local non-profit organizations in Marin County where he resides, most recently teaching ESL to immigrants through the Canal Alliance. Lorenzo received his MBA from the University of Oklahoma. |

| Jaune Evans Director of Donor Services Responsible for the client service experience at Tides, Jaune Evans leads Tides' work to continuously improve services and programs and directs the teams of philanthropic and grantmaking professionals. Prior to joining Tides in 2009, Jaune was the Executive Director of Programs at the Lannan Foundation in Santa Fe, New Mexico where she focused grantmaking on indigenous communities, environmental protection, contemporary visual art, literature, and cultural freedom. Previously, she was the Executive Director of the New Mexico Community Foundation, where she raised endowment funds, donor advised funds, and program funds for statewide initiatives. She also served as Deputy Director of Public Health for the State of New Mexico and founded New Mexico AIDS Services and the Hospice of the Rio Grande. |

| Ellen Friedman Executive Vice President, Tides Ellen Friedman has been with Tides since 1987. As Executive Vice President, she is responsible for organizational operations and integrated management of the Tides organizations. Ellen is the founder and was the first Managing Director of Community Clinics Initiative, a partnership with Tides and The California Endowment working to strengthen community health centers throughout California. She brings a long history of advising individual donors on issues of philanthropic planning, violence against women, the Jewish community, and environmental issues. Before coming to Tides, Ellen served as a Program Officer at the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation in Los Angeles. She is a board member of New Field Foundation, Institute for Jewish Spirituality and the Family Violence Prevention Fund. |

| Mary Clare Hubert Director of Grants Management Mary Clare Hubert, a Bay Area native, started at Tides Foundation as Grants Administrator in 2000. She is now Director of Grants Management, providing oversight of grant services to more than 450 Foundation clients. She served on the Grants Managers Network Northern California Steering Committee from 2004 to 2006. She is currently on the Advisory Council of the NGO Repository, working to advance international philanthropy. Before coming to Tides, Mary Clare worked for nonprofit environmental organizations in San Francisco and Missoula, MT. She has a Masters degree from University of Montana in Environmental Studies. |

| Drummond Pike Founder and CEO, Tides Drummond Pike is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tides. Awarded as an Outstanding Foundation Professional, Drummond helped pioneer the advent of donor advised funds in philanthropy. Through his leadership, Tides has helped increase the capacity and effectiveness of thousands of social change organizations. Drummond was a founder and Associate Director of the Youth Project in Washington, DC, and served as Executive Director of the Shalan Foundation from 1976 to 1981. He was among the original founders of Working Assets, a telecommunications company dedicated to progressive philanthropy and political activism. |

| Gary D. Schwartz Senior Vice President, Tides and Managing Director, Tides Foundation Gary D. Schwartz is Managing Director of Tides Foundation and is part of the executive team at Tides responsible for the integrated management of the Tides organizations. Gary joined Tides in 1999 after he served for nearly ten years as a consultant and the Executive Director of the Fund of the Four Directions in New York. The Fund was a leading grant making institution in the areas of indigenous peoples’ organizing, women’s empowerment and environmental sustainability. Gary has spent his entire career working in the nonprofit arena including tenure at the Houston Area Women’s Center Rape Crisis Center and Gay Men’s Health Crisis in New York City. He currently serves on the National Advisory Board of the National Domestic Violence Hotline and is a trustee with two private family foundations, as well as a trustee for Artists For A New South Africa. A former Peace Corps Volunteer (stationed in the Fiji Islands), Gary studied creative writing at Southern Illinois University and nonprofit management at the New School in New York City. |
